‘Think B4U Click’ Christmas campaign

Deniliquin’s festive spirit is underway with the ‘Think B4U Click this Christmas’ campaign, encouraging locals to shop close to home and be rewarded for it.

Organised by the Deniliquin Pastoral Times and supported by local sponsors, the initiative offers a generous $6000 in prizes, including two $500 minor draws and a $5000 major prize.

For the first time, winners will receive their prize as half cash and half Deniliquin Business Chamber Why Leave Town Gift Cards, giving them the flexibility to cover household expenses or invest in local services, while still supporting the town’s businesses.

“We understand the impact that cost of living is having on everyone, so we wanted our promotion to reflect this,” said Pastoral Times general manager Leesa Muir.

“With the cash, winners can perhaps use their prize to cover household expenses, pay their rates or other bills, or get a local tradie in to do that job they've always wanted done.”

Entry tickets are now being issued by participating businesses, with customers earning one ticket for purchases up to $20, and additional tickets for every extra $20 spent in a single transaction, capped at 20 tickets.

Double ticket days are also in play, with bonus opportunities on November 12, November 26, and December 10.

The first minor draw takes place today, followed by the second on November 28, and the major prize draw will be held at the Edward River Council Community Christmas Party in the Waring Gardens on December 19.

The second minor prize will be drawn November 28, and the Major prize, valued at $5000, will be drawn December 19.
