Tastes of the Goulburn is a feast of local flavours and tunes

Feast and tunes: It’s all on offer at the annual Tastes of Goulburn.

Station St in Seymour is gearing up for a celebration of flavors and culture with the return of the Tastes of the Goulburn festival on Saturday, April 27.

Scheduled from 10 am to 4 pm, the event will highlight the local culinary scene and craftsmanship, showcasing over 50 vendors.

Visitors can look forward to exploring a variety of local foods, wines, beers, ciders, and crafts, emphasising the region's harvest this autumn.

Among the highlights are unique wine vintages, freshly unveiled by regional winemakers following their latest harvests.

The day's activities will kick off with an opening by emcee Nic Healey and an Acknowledgement of Country from Tastes of the Goulburn chairwoman, Lauren Anderson.

The entertainment will feature a diverse line-up including the popular duo Sam & Sam, DJ PHATcontrolla, Liam Blunts Funky Rhythm Train, and the rock trio The Beekeepers, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the festival.

The Producer’s Kitchen will offer interactive culinary sessions, such as craft brew and barbecue with James Mele and Tooboorac Brewery’s chief brewer, along with a ricotta-making workshop by How Now Dairy.

For families, the festival promises a fun day with activities tailored for children, including cookie decorating, craft stations, and various games in the Kids’ Corner.

Tastes of the Goulburn 2024 is poised to be a significant event on Seymour’s cultural calendar, drawing visitors from across Victoria and beyond to sample the diverse tastes and talents of the Goulburn Valley.
