Animals of all shapes and sizes will be at St Brendan’s Catholic Church to receive a special blessing on Saturday, October 4.
The annual ‘Blessing of the animals’ will be held in the parish gardens in the church grounds.
Everyone is welcome to bring any animals to be blessed by priest Fr Adi Indra.
The blessing comes on the feast of St Francis of Assisi, who is the patron saint of animals, and will be held near his statue in the gardens.
All animals need to be on leads, or in cages or carriers.
The blessing will be held at 4.30pm at 121 Knight St, Shepparton.
