Shop fire deliberately lit

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a deliberately lit fire at a convenience store at the weekend.

Police believe two unknown people used an accelerant to set fire to the MacIsaac Rd shop in Mooroopna on Saturday, November 1.

People passing by called 000 at 3.31am.

A CFA spokesperson said the fire was brought under control at 3.43am and declared safe at 4.47am.

Two CFA trucks attended the scene with support from Fire Rescue Victoria.
