With school holidays kicking off next week, families across the region will be out and about enjoying the warmer weather and local outdoor spaces.
That means more children near parks, playgrounds, and footpaths, especially during daylight hours.
Residents are reminded to stay alert while driving, particularly in areas where kids are likely to gather.
Slow down near playgrounds, observe reduced speed limits, and be extra cautious at crossings and intersections.
Whether you're heading to work or just passing through, a little extra care behind the wheel can help keep our community safe.

Traffic changes north of Deni
Drivers north of Deniliquin are advised of temporary traffic changes on Booroorban-Tchelery Road due to transmission line stringing works as part of the Energy Connect project by Elecnor Australia.
Works has been taking place this week, continuing until tomorrow.
A second block of work will take place from Friday, October 10 and Friday, October 17.
To ensure safety and manage traffic flow, traffic control will be in place, wait times may reach up to 10 minutes, and speed limits will be reduced to 40km/h in the work zone.
Motorists are thanked for their patience and cooperation during these essential upgrades.
