The Pina Border Leicester ram sale in Colbinabbin scheduled for October 13 was indefinitely delayed after the skies dropped 21.6mm the day before the sale — then proceeded to pour day and night.
By 9am on the sale day, the closest Bureau of Meteorology weather station (Bendigo) had recorded 65.6mm in 24 hours.
By lunchtime, Colbinabbin hit 100mm.
Interested buyers should contact Nutrien Ag to make sure they’re on the notification list for the new sale date.
The sale is expected to be delayed by seven to 10 days.
