Kubota Australia has unveiled the new M7-4 series, its best M7 yet, building on more than a decade of proven performance in Australian conditions.
The new range brings a redesigned operator's cab, precise hydraulics, a new front loader and expanded connectivity, alongside more power across the board, giving farmers a single tractor that can move between loader work, hay season and row-crop jobs without missing a beat.
Kubota Tractor Australia senior product manager, Konstantin Blersch, said Australian and New Zealand customer feedback continues to shape the M7, and the M7-4 is the latest step in that evolution.
"The M7 has had more than a decade to prove itself in Australian conditions, and the M7-4 builds on that experience," said Mr Blersch.
"It's a genuine step up. We're making sure it keeps working the way Australian farms need it to. With up to 168HP on tap, plus a PTO boost for the heavier jobs, we're broadening where the M7 sits in the market.
“In the end, this is genuinely serious kit: equally at home on a dairy, in high-end horticulture, or running a mixed cropping operation."
Mr Blersch said the M7-4 is a true all-rounder and the configuration reflects how many farm businesses now run a mix of implements rather than sticking to one job.
"There's a growing number of implements out there that make perfect sense for a tractor this size," he said.
"It fits whether someone's already got the gear and is scaling up, or they're sizing up for the first time."
Mr Blersch said some of the biggest improvements in the M7-4 are the ones operators feel rather than see, starting with the cab and controls.
“Everything a driver needs during the day, the loader, the hydraulics, the gear changes, sits within reach on one control lever," said Mr Blersch.
"It sounds like a small thing, but after a full day in the seat, it makes a real difference to how tired you are at the end of it. It's the same thinking behind the hydraulics and loader, built to move between jobs without wasting a second.
“Whether you're running a loader, working ground, or on the PTO, the M7-4 has the power and the flexibility to keep up. T
“hat's the whole idea behind it: one tractor that can genuinely do it all."
Alongside the new cab and hydraulics, Kubota has also extended the M7-4's connectivity, with ISOBUS compatibility and tractor implement management (TIM) available on premium models, letting the tractor and compatible implements share information and work together automatically.
"This innovation isn't just for younger operators or the tech-obsessed," Mr Blersch said.
"We're seeing plenty of interest from farmers who are simply curious and open to a new way of doing things once they see the benefit."
Kubota's wider implement range, spanning tillage, spraying and haymaking equipment, also means the M7-4 can be paired end-to-end with Kubota Group machinery for operations wanting a singlebrand setup.
The M7-4 Series is available through Kubota's dealer network of more than 140 dealers.
