Deniliquin Police have reminded motorists to be aware of the free Family Halloween Party being held today from 3.30pm to 6pm in and around Waring Gardens.
The event is being presented by the Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group (Deni – MHAG).
Police said there will be a lot of children and adults’ trick and treating around the Deniliquin CBD which will include visiting participating businesses as they ‘trick or treat’.
They have asked motorists to watch out while driving around town this afternoon so everyone stays safe in and around the roads.

About 10.05pm Saturday 25/10/2025 a 20-year-old woman was stopped by police in Harrison St, Deniliquin for a random breath test.
Police said the woman returned a positive result and was arrested and taken to the Deniliquin Police Station where she underwent breath analysis. The woman is alleged to have returned a reading of 0.122 and is expected to appear in court in relation to driving with the middle range prescribed concentration of alcohol.
The woman’s driving licence was also suspended as a result of the incident.
