Many youth groups and event organisers benefited from the latest round of Campaspe Youth GO! Grants.
Campaspe Shire Council announced the successful recipients of the youth-focused grants on Thursday, August 7, an initiative made possible through support from the Victorian Government’s Engage! Program.
The successful recipients were:
- Kyabram Blue Light – 2025 Summer Beach Camp – $500
- Kyabram Plaza Theatre – Spooky Screening – $1000
- 1st Kyabram Scouts – End of Year Celebration – $850
- St Augustine’s College – Sensory Space for Neurodiverse Students – $500
Additionally, Kyabram Blue Light were given a grant for $1000 through the government’s Community Recovery Hubs Initiative for its Halloween Disco event in October.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell said these grants were important in connecting with young people across the shire.
“From now until the end of the year, communities across Campaspe can look forward to a range of exciting youth-led initiatives. Keep an eye out for what’s coming,” he said.
The next round of Campaspe Youth GO! Grants will open in the first half of 2026.
