The doors of the Rochester ambulance branch were opened up to locals on Friday, February 28, welcoming them into the new space.

Paramedics and ambulance community officers have been working out of the state-of-the-art branch since late September 2024.

The community opening gave residents from Rochester and surrounds the chance to tour the facility and meet some of the AV members.

The branch features a three-bay garage, two rest-and-recline areas, long-term accommodation, a training room, a fully equipped kitchen, car parking and improved security.

State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes and AV interim chief executive Andrew Crisp officially opened the site at the end of 2024.
