Firefighters were assisted by air crews to bring a 40ha grass fire under control at Pranjip on Wednesday, March 1.
According to a CFA spokesperson, 25 CFA units responded to the fire on Longwood-Shepparton Rd at 1.30pm.
The fire was travelling in a northerly direction and was deemed under control at 2.21pm, with crews then blacking out the fire.
No property or assets were under threat from the fire.
