On a chilly morning, students and teachers at Edward Public School arrived at school last Friday rocking jeans as part of the uniform.
Pre-planned as a fundraiser for Jeans for Genes, the warmth of the denim also helped keep the cold at bay.
Students offered a gold coin donation for the privilege of pairing the jeans with their regular school shirts and jumper.
Every dollar donated went directly to Children’s Medical Research Institute and helps find treatments and cures for children’s genetic diseases.
