The Cobram Lions Club will be hosting its annual Easter Community Market on Saturday, March 30, at Federation Park, with organisers promising a great morning out for the whole family.

The market, which is free to attend, will comprise a large number of stalls selling everything from gifts, clothes, furniture, tools and food produce.

“There’s a good mixture and a large number of stalls,” Cobram Lions president Janet Austin said.

“There is something for everyone, for everyone’s budget and interest."

Alongside the stalls there will also be a small petting zoo for the kids to interact with animals.

In true Easter spirit, attendees will have an opportunity to greet the Easter bunny, who will be merrily hopping around the park, distributing Easter eggs to the delight of all.

There will also be an Easter raffle, and the winner will be able to take home a large hamper filled to the brim with Easter eggs.

Savour the flavours of the market, with the Cobram Lions at the helm of the barbecue, offering a mouth-watering selection of freshly cooked eggs, bacon rolls, and sausages.

There will also be coffee, cakes and an ice-cream van for marketgoers to enjoy, with Ms Austin urging anyone in the area to come along to Federation Park and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Ms. Austin extends a warm invitation to everyone to join in the festivities at Federation Park and bask in the serene atmosphere.

“Come along; it will be a lovely morning,” she said.

“It's always a good morning and a relaxed atmosphere at the market.”

The Cobram Lions president also wished the community a safe and happy Easter holiday.

“We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter,” Ms Austin said.

“Hopefully, we will see people at the markets and around town. There is a lot on in town this Easter.”
