Peak hour traffic was thrown into chaos in Shepparton on Tuesday, April 24, after a crash on one of the town’s main thoroughfares.
Part of Archer St was closed for 45 minutes after two cars collided at the traffic lights at the Wilmot Rd intersection about 4.40pm.
Police said a Mazda6 was stationary at the traffic lights at Archer St when a Holden Astra coupe hit the rear of it.
The Holden driver stopped at the scene and helped police with their inquiries.
No-one was injured in the crash.
Traffic, however, was thrown into mayhem as motorists made their way home from work, with detours around that section of Archer St until 5.25pm while the crash scene was cleared.
