Winter is well and truly here.
Only 19 days into the chilly season, Shepparton has already reached a record low with the coldest June morning in over 10 years.
Shepparton residents were greeted this morning by frosted over lawns and car windscreens thanks to a low -3.6℃ at 7am (as reported by Bureau of Meteorology).
This makes today, Wednesday, June 19, the coldest June day since 2007 when temperatures hit an even lower -4℃.
It is also the coldest day in 7 years, since July of 2017 when temperatures reached -3.9℃.
