Sheep graziers have been warned of cold temperatures in northern Victoria this weekend, the Bureau of Meteorology said.
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and northwesterly winds are expected during Friday and Saturday.
Areas likely to be affected include the North East forecast district and parts of the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts.
“There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions,” the Bureau has warned.
Showers are possible on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and the temperature could fall to 1℃ on Monday morning.
