Class reward a blast

Edward Public School’s Year 1 and 2 students were the envy of the school on Friday.

As a reward for good behaviour and completing their classwork, the class earned 500 ‘Dojo’ points and were rewarded with a trip to one of Deni’s most beloved landmarks - the Rocket Park.

Teacher Kristy Tremble said the students did a great job walking with their teachers in a safe and orderly manner across the park.

The reward, while also lots of fun, was an opportunity for the students to practice and learn the importance of taking turns and working together.

Despite the clouds overhead, nothing could overshadow the students’ enjoyment of a richly deserved class excursion reward.
