Students and teachers from across the region have been celebrating reading and the joy of stories as part of Children's Book Week.

This year, the beloved tradition celebrates 80 years and the theme — Book an Adventure — explores the magic of storytelling.

Students and teachers at Echuca Twin Rivers Primary School celebrated with a book character parade on Friday, August 22.

Riv photographer Jordan Townrow headed along to the parade and see some of the characters.
