You might see some little caravans rolling through town this weekend.

A group of passionate fans of the Winton 10, Venus 11 and the Mystic 10 caravans are converging in Echuca over the weekend, for their very own Travellers Muster.

Event organiser and Facebook group Winton 10, Venus 11 and Mystic 10 Travellers creator Glenn Hughes said this would be the group’s biggest meet-up.

“It’s a social gathering of about 26 vans, travelling from Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney areas, including one from WA,” he said.

The caravans are unique in their compact size, only being 3.1 metres long. While small, Mr Hughes said they are the perfect travel companion.

“It has everything you need inside, including a double bed, kitchen, full ensuite and storage, with all the appliances to make it comfortable,” he said.

“Hot and cold water, a stove, fridge, internal lights, and many owners have installed air conditioning, solar and extra batteries to facilitate off-grid camping.”

Group member Rose Moore, from Sydney, will also be attending the muster, and is excited to drive down to Echuca with her caravan.

“There’s been other get-togethers, but none this large,” she said.

“I hope we don’t cause any traffic chaos.”
