Benalla P-12 College Prep students are officially “100 days brighter”.
On Wednesday, July 30, students from its Avon St and Waller St campuses got dressed up in bright clothing and celebrated all they have achieved during their first 100 days of school.
Avon St Prep teacher Adriarne Tolliday said students had a great time dressing up.
“They have worked really hard this year and are now 100 days brighter,” she said.
“We’ve made so many new friends this year. We’ve stepped out of our comfort zone.
“We’ve learned how to get along with others and to be confident in ourselves and our skills.
“And we’re just getting ready to celebrate 100 days of learning.”
The theme of the dress-up day was to wear something bright, and parents did a great job getting youngsters ready.
“Our parents are amazing. We have a great school community,” Ms Tolliday said.
“Their first 100 days has come around so quickly.
“And we are so proud of them for turning up every day and giving it a red-hot go.”
