Pirates took over the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre on Wednesday, with visitors greeted by friendly pirates while enjoying the port.
Visitors had the chance to try their luck on a treasure hunt while experiencing the Port of Echuca and paddlesteamers.
Artist and author Murray Ross was also on hand on Wednesday to draw caricatures of visitors to take home.
This week, why not take an after-dark tour of the port and hear some of the ghost stories from years gone by.
The kids adventure tours are on Tuesday and Thursday this week, from 6pm.
For pricing and to book, contact the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre on 5481 0500. Meet at the discovery centre 15 minutes before the tour.
While visiting the port, uncover some of Australia’s rich shipwreck history with the travelling exhibition Submerged: Stories of Australia’s Shipwrecks Exhibition.
The exhibition features the legends of our own wrecks on the Murray River.
The exhibition is now one in the cargo shed on Echuca wharf.
