“Annalise is still playing great netball and still a top defender in the league, and has been for many years.”
Commenting about Annalise Grinter on her 300 th club game, Yarrawonga and Ovens and Murray league legend Tracy Gillies continued: “She can come on court and just change a game.
“Annalise has been playing across both grades, a combination of A and B, and still stars, like last Saturday. “She’s a tough defender and an integral part of the success the team has had.
“She’s very unassuming and probably flies under the radar and probably doesn’t get the recognition she deserves.
“It’s a great effort getting to 300 club games.”
It was 2003 when Annalise played her first season at Yarrawonga. Her impressive record includes A Grade 226 games, B Grade 58 and C Grade 15. She has played in an impressive nine A-Grade grand finals, winning six.
In her time playing the only time she has not played deep into finals has been when the competition was in recess due to covid.
