Search resumes for teen swept into ocean in west Vic

Search efforts are continuing for a teenager who was swept out to sea off Victoria's west coast.

The boy went missing in the ocean at Blowholes Road in Cape Bridgewater, 350km from Melbourne, about 7.30pm on Tuesday.

Police conducted an extensive search in the water but could not find him.

"Search efforts were paused about 11.30pm and will recommence in the morning," a police spokeswoman said.
