Alleged Melbourne underworld boss Fadi Haddara will fight fresh firearms charges in their entirety, his lawyer has told a court.

Haddara faced Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday when his lawyer, gangland barrister Zarah Garde-Wilson, told Magistrate Adriano Serratore her client would contest the charges in their entirety.

Haddara was on bail and had to report to police three times a week, surrender his passport, stay in Victoria, reside at his address, not contact witnesses or any co-accused and abide by a curfew between 11pm and 6am, the court was told.

The magistrate did not read a summary of the allegations against Haddara.

His case is due to return for a contest mention on March 12.
