Like many businesses, Rich River Irrigation Developments began as a small operation driven by the incredible commitment and experience of one person.
Since that day in 1980, RRID has grown into a multidisciplinary company that consults on some of Australia’s biggest irrigation and land development projects.
The team includes experienced professionals with expertise in all areas of work, including survey and design; irrigation hardware sales, installation, and servicing; and title survey and subdivisions.
In 2004, RRID expanded to take on a Bauer dealership with the objective of providing their clients with the highest quality irrigation equipment, including hard hose irrigators, lateral moves and centre pivots.
Since taking over the Bauer dealership, the Rich River Irrigation Developments team has undergone regular training at Bauer’s headquarters in Austria and are now recognised as one of Australia’s most experienced Bauer retailers.
Their sales and servicing team have a vast range of experience with pumps and pipelines and can project manage irrigation developments from start to finish.
The team provides an extensive range of survey services, including broadacre, detail and topographical, construction set out and works as executed.
At RRID, the team can design both surface and spray irrigation systems, including field grading, channels, drains, water storages and internal infrastructure, as well as feedlots, including all paddocks, irrigation and drainage, effluence management, feeding systems, sheds and stables, and any other required infrastructure.
RRID is a proud member of Irrigation Association of Australia, Institution of Surveyors, Spatial Sciences Institute and Irrigation Surveyors and Designers Group, and are licensed for cadastral survey in Victoria, NSW and Western Australia.
While their reputation has extended their work to large-scale agricultural projects both in Australia and overseas, they have never lost sight of the small farmers and regional businesses — they are committed to working with their local community around Echuca-Moama and the Riverina.
They are a market leader in the irrigation industry — but they will always make time to sit down and listen.
