Fun for kids hosted by Bunnings

The Bunnings set up for Elmore Field Days in 2024.

Epsom Bendigo Bunnings will host a whole bunch of kids’ fun at the field days.

“We’ll do some face painting and glitter tattoos, and kids’ crafts, and have some trestle tables set up so kids can come and sit down and do a little bit of sand art and different things like that,” Epsom Bendigo Bunnings complex manager Reece Crane said.

Reece said whether it’s a Saturday snag or a big agricultural event, Bunnings got into the community whenever they could.

“It’s amazing to be a part of this sort of event and see many happy faces on the kids who come through and to get out and be a part of the community.

“It’s just a part of who we are and what we do, and it’s just great to see smiles on people’s faces.”

He said being at events is enjoyable for team members and attendees.

“From a team member point of view, it’s very heartwarming, and it makes you very proud to be a part of Bunnings,” Reece said.

“From a parent and child point of view, they love being able to get out and do things whether it’s at the DIY’s on the weekends or the different events that we hold, whether it’s at the store or outside the store.

“There’s a real sense of excitement that comes out of the kids, and even if it’s just something as simple as getting a stamp on the way out ... it’s great to be able to offer these things. We’re very excited.”

As well as the kids area, Bunnings will have a shop set up.
