The greatest show was sans red velvet curtains or an orchestra pit.

At least, according to the grandparents and special friends of the students at St Mary’s Primary School.

On Friday, July 26, the Mooroopna school welcomed beaming grandparents, doting aunts and uncles, and friendly neighbours for a tour of the classrooms and a school concert.

Whether it was flaunting a lively song and dance or the pats and taps of a percussive show, each year level had its time to shine on stage.

Those in attendance couldn’t stop raving about it as they chatted over a light morning tea.

They all agreed that the students’ performances were as sound as a school bell.
