Former Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu has died in hospital after being gunned down in a car park in Sydney's inner west.
Emergency services were called to Walker street at Rhodes at about 6.30pm on Monday where they found the 40-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds.
He died in hospital on Tuesday morning.
NSW Police believe it was a targeted attack and have begun an investigation under Strike Force Claypinch and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to Crime Stoppers.
The shooting may be linked to a recent spate of gangland shootings in Sydney, with 14 fatal hits in the last two years.
In 2020, Nazlioglu was found not guilty in the NSW Supreme Court of murdering Comanchero boss Mick Hawi who was shot in the car park of Fitness First in Rockdale in February 2018.
