Jeff Odgers named DA Chair

VICTORIAN DAIRY farmer Jeff Odgers was appointed Chair of Dairy Australia at last month’s AGM, replacing outgoing Chair Geoff Akers, who stepped down after 4 years as Chair and 12 years on the Board.

Mr Odgers owns a dairy farming business near Shepparton, Victoria, milking 700 cows, and has broad experience in managing large scale farm enterprises in northern Victoria and Tasmania.

He served as a Director of Murray Dairy, including Chairman for four years.

Gippsland farmer Graeme Nicoll and Western Victorian farmer Tania Luckin were appointed to the Dairy Australia Board.
